Potluck provides a resource table at each weekly
meal and at the Christmas Dinner to help our guests meet emergency needs. We are
always in need of donated items which will be distributed on Sundays; and
volunteers are always needed to work the Resource Table and to help with
clean-up after each Sunday meal.
Items needed for the resource table are..

Backpacks or other sturdy bags

Socks, gently used or new

Deodorant

Toilet paper (even partial rolls)

Foot powder or baby powder

Chapstick, Lotion

Tampons or maxi-pads
-
Combs or brushes
-
Toothpaste and tooth brushes

Razors
-
Used eyeglasses and reading glasses
-
Sleeping bags
-
Blankets
-
Hats, scarves, gloves or mittens

If you go to the
Dollar Scholar, 3279 SE Hawthorne Blvd., 503-235-2222, and tell them that you
are purchasing items for Potluck in the Park, you will receive a 10% discount.
If you need a receipt for donated items, we can provide you with one with our
tax ID# on it.
We ask that personal care items be new and unopened. This does not apply to
backpacks and bags, blankets, sleeping bags and clothing.
Unfortunately we don’t have the capacity to accept furniture or household items.
We suggest you call the Oregon Community Warehouse at 503-235-8786 to make this
type of donation.
If you or someone you know would like to donate items, or volunteer, or if you
know of a business that would post a flyer requesting donations from its staff,

We will arrange for the pick up of the donated items
